1. guiding parts of work to completion and
2. providing an environment which encourages the raising of emotional intelligence

Those who excel at both skills build value.

That someone has simply turned themselves so another aspect of their story becomes more visible.

Some folks like to endlessly re-read the first chapter of a book, and seem surprised when another chapter appears.

“So, what happens when there are limited resources? Like coal, for example.”

Let’s say there’s X amount of coal in the world. There’s more than one way to solve the problems that coal serves.
If you focus on the ‘there’s only so much coal’, you see scarcity, your mind shuts down and you spend time arguing to defend your now comfortable scarcity position. Where we focus our minds determines the lens through which we see the world.
If you focus on the end you want to meet, the result: your mind activates and more becomes possible.

I looked at Selena skeptically and spoke when she caught her breath. I wouldn’t want to live on your kind of planet, that’s for sure.

Selena was on a roll. “What are you talking about? Why not?”

You’re way out there. Your vagabond brother totaled your car and you didn’t say a word, yet your friend who’s here for you now didn’t do something small you wanted and you skin her alive. You made a bad call letting your brother drive your car, and you’re taking it out on someone else – which is crap. Some friend you are.
Think about it. A world where punishment for women far outstrips a misstep? Where other women forget their humanity? No way, no how.
Wish I could say you’re even more controlling than controlled, but somehow, unfortunately, I don’t think that’s true.
Good luck with your dark, fearful, inhumane planet. See you when you join the rest of us here on this one … the REAL planet.

You lose what you want in personal relationship just about the point you get comfortable.

When you get comfortable, gratitude goes out the window … and with it, happiness.

Being comfortable yet no longer happy, you subconsciously start destroying what you have, and seeking someone else to ‘make you happy’.

You meet someone new, get gratitude, get comfortable … and repeat the cycle again. Endlessly.

What’s missing? Your released gratitude. It escaped with your happiness.

Move from an economic mindset to a chemistry mindset.

Opportunity often favors an eye for percent abundance.

I replied: No. It’s not a man’s world.

She laughed. “How do you figure?”

Collectively, men don’t take responsibility for it. Men aren’t held accountable for it. When you own something, you’re both responsible for it and held accountable for what happens to it. It’s not a man’s world.

She paused “… so whose world is it?”

That, my friend, is up to you to figure out.

One cannot expect to get past scarcity by looking at an issue through scarcity. That’s ludicrous.

• based on what the loudest voices actually value, what we allow, what we ignore, what we reward, and

• based on an ongoing premise – and hence structure – of perceived scarcity and fear of loss.
