Not reinvented

I chuckle when media declares that someone has “reinvented themselves”.
That someone has simply turned themselves so another aspect of their story becomes more visible.
Some folks like to endlessly re-read the first chapter of a book, and seem surprised when another chapter appears.
I look forward to reading and enjoying a story all the way until it ends.
